you have to use kinect. kinect never worked as it was intended, for me anyway. i can switch the source with the press of a single button.
the reason it's a really bad thing though, is that they talked about it for about half an hour without even mentioning games.
You are embarrassing yourself lol Customer satisfaction is key to any successful business - you don't sell 70m units of one product if people aren't satisfied - since word would soon get around.
You'll be able to use the controller I am sure. Kinect is just part of it.
because people are idiots and go 'oh xbox ill get one' without knowing anything.
see: call of duty.
@matt i can change the source by pressing one button on my tv remote which is always within reach so what's the crack.

That doesn't mean it's a bad thing? If they want an Xbox, they'll get an Xbox. Same with PlayStation or any device in fact.

What's the crack? It's called a feature you don't have to use. Like ANY device. Devices all come with features and functionality. Does that mean you have to use every single one? Hell no.
might as well get an xbox because it's xbox then. discussion over thanks for changing my mind for me.
oh noes, i get a kinect for free when i purchase the console. such a terrible move microsoft!!!
newsflash, playstation comes with a camera!!
it'll be reflected in the price point, that's the problem @wootzeh
@matt - no but you didn't read where i said that's all they talked about for half an hour without mentioning games. it's their core userbase now?
