I really liked it in the end probably will rewatch at some point. I found to begin with capldis hard to understand but he became clearer later obviously the doctors are a little crazy post regeneration

Yeah same as above at the beginning I found him hard to understand so I was like omg what are we in for but it did improve so be grand! Still not too sure how I feel about Capaldi but it's too soon to really tell. There was a good bit of humour in there which was good my favourite part was when he said "It's times like this when I miss Amy"

Loved the phone call but ffs how many times is Matt Smith going to break my heart.

I think the lady in the Promise Land or whatever could well be River Song. Yes she gave up all her regenerations to save The Doctor but we've seen that Moffat likes to ignore their timelines and hands out a few regenerations as seen in the Christmas special. So if it is a purgatory for some of those who died in Doctor Who, I guess there's not a lot stopping her from changing herself.

Although if it was River I would say he would have thrown in one of her catchphrases or something.

Enjoyed it more than the last series, thank goodness, but still not as much as I used to.

One question. I don't know if I missed that or it purposely wasn't said but:

Did we find out if the Doctor pushed the clockwork guy (forgotten the name he was given already ffs) or if he jumped? I know the woman in 'heaven' at the end asked him but I don't think he responded. If we weren't told, I'd be inclined to believe that the Doctor pushed him. Both Capaldi and Moff did say that 12 was going to be much darker.

Also omg I don't like the way some of us are putting info about already released eps in spoiler tags and some of us are putting in leaked info in them! I don't wanna accidentally read real spoilers :@

I cried with laughter at this part. Great episode for Capaldi's entry. I think he is gonna be most people's second favorite (tennant being the first) but in my view he is my doctor.

Does anyone know if the plan is to bring back Gallifrey this series? While I do love arcs I really cba with another big massive arc right across multiple series

boring tbh. feels so much more like a children's show again and while the recurring characters have their amusing moments they don't really belong in the show full time.

It was an OK episode, in comparison to The Girl in the Fireplace though I know which I prefer Should be an interesting series nonetheless.

Doctor Who is about time-travel. Clocks are perfectly acceptable to use since they tell the time. I think its nice to have something different instead of the vortex theme. Plus its created by a fan of Doctor Who so its not gonna be brilliant but its very good.

It makes sense, yeah.. but I've always preferred the old ones
