I really do hate moving stuff from world to world as it just messes the new world up and isn't very clean. Can we not all agree to just a fresh start this once since it's a brand new release and with the world terrain changing? (A)

Pretty sure it's just Fox and Re-call that are against it.

Yeah would make everyone equal and 100 times more easier if everything was reset and everyone needed to build up again.

I'm completely for a fresh restart and also looks like the majority are? There may be difficulties with porting over in 1.7 as it is anyway with the world gen differences? So better to stay on the safe side.

Well @Skynus; @xxMATTGxx; the thing is simon and myself have been on the server constantly almost every single day for the past 4-5 months. We have built quite a nice area and we've spent probably over 100 hours on it in the last 3 months. Would hate for it to be destroyed and all of our hard work put to waste. I really find it unfair on how people who haven't even thought of going on the server for months now suddenly have a stronger influence on the server then the people who have stayed loyal and supported the server.

Basically me and simon would like our little area moved over. If we cant get everything moved over Im sure I can pick and choose like a few of my more important builds to be moved over, but I don't know Simons opinion on this atm

Then what is the point of playing for the people that don't get anything moved over? There's not really a solution to make both parties happy.

When it comes to it, the newly appointed Server Manager @j0rd;, Matt and myself will discuss what will happen, and if we want buildings moved over. Until then, nothing is set in stone.

Oh and if you didn't notice everyone, Jord is now the Server Manager for Community. Not sure on Technical yet, but we'll see if someone comes along. If not, we can teach Jord I guess!
