Because I had a level 1 clue scroll in my bank and my friend told me to come kill guards and get clue scrolls with him. I gave up by the time he had done 3 treasure trails. Then I did my level 1 clue scroll. Then I went and killed about 3 guards and got a level 2 scroll straight away
