What you think of the .com semi hobbas?

I think users 15 and over should be allowed to become silvers, like on .com, but they have to apply and be selected, or be reccomended (although no one should know your age, 'cause everyone keeps their personal details personal, right? ). This way the best (or the most popular) of the youngest will become silver hobbas, making more hobbas, making habbo safer.

Hobba applications are supposed to be fair to everyone no matter how well known you are. If they did it on recommendation system then it would no longer be fair. Really I think that what is needed is a huge recruitment drive within the current 18+ age group at sixth forms and colleges to try and attract 18 year olds, or people who will soon turn 18 to get to know Habbo and maybe become Hobbas. Another possible recruitment drive would be to send out an e-mail to the parents of all Habbos (hopefully some Habbos might forward it on to their parents ) asking them if they would like to become Hobbas.
However, if you move the applications out of the current age group, then the number of applications becomes too high, and more importantly, the number of applications from people who will abuse their powers becomes higher in proportion to the total number of applications.

Personally i thought the 13+ hobbas was probably the worst idea in the history of habbo. A bunch of habbos lying about their age? If i was manager i would scrap it ASAP!

No, I don't think that it will be introduced to the UK because the Hobba age used to 16 and then was raised to 18 right? Well I hardly think that they are going to raise the age and then drop it again to lower then it was before.
Sorasafe is right, there are different moderation laws over here then there are in the USA.

The Hobba system for .com was a good idea, especially for Sulake. The amount of people using .com has increased since everyone found out they could be a Hobba, and everyone who wanted to be a Hobba had to have bought furni - Which meant Sulake made lots of money. The only bad thing is the Hobbas abusing their powers, one of them was alerting people to goto a scamsite.. Most of them hobbas are gone now, and the Hotel is safe

Habbo couldn't introduce it to UK because of the laws, but I think it would be a good idea if Habbo introduced some new kind of "Guides" where selected Habbos could use :softkick in any room - EG when someone is blocking a door you have to call a Hobba, which wastes their time when they could be helping scammed Habbos, if more Habbos had the power to kick there wouldnt be any need for Hobbas to come, but most people would probably abuse the power so it might not be a good idea after all Whats your thoughts??

I Think That the 13 and over thing is good :eusa_ange because some of those semi-hobbas can now show that they're not immature just because they're 13 or w/e.
Although i think they hired a bit too many hobbas on .com :eusa_eh:
