i doubt it swish lite is free from their website but it is usless!

Swish Lite is free but it is very basic and you cannot add sound and it comes out in black in white in demo mode.

gamemaker v6 , I have to make a game for school with that program, I almost finished it, but then the lives didnt work :S, so i started over, jumping is the hardest thing to get. But if you read the tut's here, then you get pretty far with it Good luck.
