You definately can because i used to merchant phats all the same. I made about 5m a day.
It is extremely easy to buy a phat for example 99m and sell for 100 - 100.5m

You can make 1 mil an hour, you just need to be a good merchanter and know what items to merchant, and maybe some luck.
