Maybe your friend was saying she said stuff about you because he wanted the two of you to break up so he could go out with her. Talk to her and see if she really did say those things. If she didn't go hit your friend then take her back.

Firstly I think you should ditch your mate for being out of order, and tell the girl that you are sorry and made a mistake, you don't have to back out with her straight away, go out with eachother and gain eachothers trust again, and then see where it takes you, The best thing you can do is talk to eachother, it should all work out.
