Making so many sub forums, the main forum will get disused. And I don't think the new sub forum won't have too man threads.

The guides sub forum isnt meant to have so many threads anyway. People may want a small guide or something that another person has tried and find works.

Its abit like saying, we dont need site guides cause we have google and can find any guide on there.

If you dont like it, dont use it. I am sure someone will benefit from it wheather its today or next month. There are lots of good guides being posted here but they are not easily spoted because we never had the forum until now.

I do agree about the idea of making a suggestions thread or some place you guys can post your ideas however knowing the runescape forum, it will be abused and spammed to hell within hours .

well www.gameboxforum.com is rs based, so if you give suggestions on that forum, it can be easier to make suit everyone as its for runescape rather than a forum with runescape on it .

I think its a pretty dumb idea, mainly because the majority of users on this forum arent that experienced enough to make a decent guide.

Neither did I, who did know it was going to be added? =/ I didn't even notice it before I saw this thread lol.

I got to agree with Mad for a part, but Alex had a good point. Most users don't have the experience to make a good guide.
Only noobs will make guides there that took about 5 minutes to type and if we're lucky they added some bad pictures.
So that forum will just be spammed with bad guides and multiple guides for the same thing, guides will get lost and reposted and people will flame each other for making bad guides (like everybody gets flamed here for almost everything).
