rct original is completely different to rct3 i prefer the original

rct3 has themed rides and 3d graphics and a different interface

rct2 is the same as 1 but with extra rides and a better interface

but rct1 is a classic and i love it

Lemme find that file I found which unlocks ALL scenarios on RCT1...
Oh, and I'm on XP Pro and RCT works, and I didn't have to change anything with Compatability Settings or whatever they are.

If you're trying to play Rct1, reinstall it. Make sure your computer meets the requirements labelled on the box.

In my opinion, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 is the best version because it has more 3 dimension graphics and you can ride the rides =o. RCT3 is the better version if you like technical details, but moving from RCT1 to RCT3 takes awhile since there any many new tools and commands.
But if you want to start fresh, either get 1 or 2.

NOTE: BEFORE BUYING RCT3, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A COMPATIBLE VIDEO CARD. WITHOUT A NEWER 128MB VIDEO CARD, THE GAME WILL NOT FUNCTION.

RCT3 is the best. I downloaded RCT3, RCT3-Wild and RCT3-Soaked and they're really good.
