Guitar. I used to play piano/keyboard for some time, but I've quit music school since then. I'm tutored elsewhere now.

well im confused, do you have like your certificate & report that says "Grade 9" on it? :s so confused still..

    so grades...

Associated Board practical exams provide a progressive system of assessments beginning with the Prep Test and moving up through 8 grades to diplomas. They are designed to motivate pupils and students at all levels by providing clear attainable goals. The 'grades' are recognised as international benchmarks and are valued by teachers and institutions all over the world.

    & diploma...

The Diploma Syllabus offers a range of assessments for musicians beyond Grade 8. There are three subject-lines:
    • Music Performance
    • Music Direction
    • Instrumental/ Vocal Teaching
For each subject-line there are three levels of award:
    • DipABRSM (Diploma of The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music)
    • LRSM (Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music
    • FRSM (Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music)
ah.. well, whatever floats your boat.

    Hi,

I go to the Royal Northern College of Music, some of you know & some of you don't know. Just depends on how you know me

    Instrument: Trombome
Grade: 8 & Diploma in performance
Hardest Song: "Helicon Wasp" for trombone and piano
Best Song: Blue bells of scotland

    Instrument: Piano
    Grade : 8
Hardest long: Meh, played to Much to say erm, Mozart piano concert no.21
Best Song: Any out of musicals

    Instrument: Voice
    Grade : 7
Hardest song: Gladiatore ( Foreign )
Best song : Les miserables - on my own

Instrument ( not really one ) : Grade 8 theory

I am a true musician by heart, and I have done it since I was 5. It was my aspiration to be musical adjudicator or composer, and I'm still on the road to doing so.

If you don't believe this, feel obliged to ask Calzeh on this forum who attends the leeds college of music

EDIT : All grades done with associated board of Music
