you should find friends who will respect you for what you want, and not what they want

You will find out who your true friends are if you do decide to go out with this lad. I think you should if you like him, classes in school and being "higher up" should have nothing to do with it. If you like him go for it & your true friends will stick by you. If they dump you for going out with him then they are NOT real mates.

Everyones clear'd it up mostly but here same agen i used too go out with a girl 1 year younger then me :S and people took the mick out of that, after a couple of days everyone didn't mind.. when i kissed her it got round my year group lasted about one day.. just go with your mind if they don't like you then there not your mates? go with your heart

I am going out with someone in the year below and I haven't received any problem from anyone about it, but I understand it's different for a girl to go out with a younger boy, it is normally the other way around.

But yeah, if you think you feel something special for him then go for it, but make sure you actually think "This could work".

but now hes bin sendin me message sayin send dirty pics ov u etc etc and that he ***** over me. It has really put me off

my mate is goin out with a boy who isnt as high up in the school as she is.. people take the pee in a friendly not mean sort of way. and i do. even tho she is my best mate.. people wil get used to it. expect to get a bit of stick for it the first week or so coz ppl wil take time getin used to seein u 2 together.. =]

if you dont feel comfortable with it, tell him! if he's as caring as you make him out to be he'll understand. though you might want to reconsider if he keeps persisting.

just dont give in to it, god knows who'll end up seeing those pics if you send them to him.... they could end up going round the whole school
