tbh they don't sound like very good mates if they turn there nose up at different "statuses" I'd go with the boy, and let your supposed to be friends realise there mistakes.

First of all, for you to try and class yourself as somewhat better than this buy just because of the people you go around with - then you must be pretty naive yourself. Not everything is about status and class in this world you know. I understand you are at school and that you could receive some namecalling etc. from friend's - but who cares? If you like this boy and he is going to make you happy, then why not give that the proper chance it deserves just because your so paranoid about what others are going to think? It's your life - not theirs.

If you are going to worry about what your friends, and other people, are going to think every time you want to get in a relationship or make some kind of decision - your not going to have much of an independant life at all. Stand up for yourself and go for it. If your friends say things, just ignore it. Tell them he makes your happy and you like being with him. If they continue then it's pretty obvious they arn't real friends at all - as they should support you and be pleased that you have found a person you enjoy being with.

Try and be a bit less materialistic in the sense of "I'm better than you because I hang about with so and so". That type of attitude will get you know where in this world, and it's simply arrogant.

So, what you're trying to say is that before you make a PERSONAL decision you need to run it by a bunch of friends?

Jesus kid, god forbid you get into a REAL relationship.

If this kid's a loser then it's likely that you only like him because he's been persistant, and the attention has rubbed off on you and made you have some sort of feelings for him. Maybe give him a blowie in the toilets or something and he'll be happy, then you can move on and get a boi who's a bit cooler. Forget what people are saying about status, status is everything.

Lmao but somehow the scool will find out about the "little blowie" and make it worse.

This happened with somebody at my school just recently. She went out with this gross fat kid and the whole school knew within a min and everybody was talking about it. She lost some friends but proboly only until they break up.

Caring ones, who don't want their friend to be doing a spack.
