I do have a Nintendo Wii, and the little flap on the Nintendo Wii console has nothing to do with this situation.. you plug the Classic Controller into the Original Wii Remote.

when you buy them it says which controllers it's compatible with...
some aren't compatible with the gamecube one, only the classic one.

Try reading instructions? :S Could just be a busted controller

You need to plug the classic controller or Gamecube controller into the wiimote then that should do it

omgomgomgomgogm You arn't lisening... classic remote and game cube remote don't have the same ports... you put the gamecube one in the actual consol itself

I have the classic controller & gamecube and you can play Zelda with gamecube one but its less-comfortable and harder to play.

I can play Zelda : OoT on my GC Controller fine
