K just downloaded Zelda and i don't have the classic wii remote i have the one that looks like the game cube one. and it's saying

You need to connect the callice controller to theP1 Wii remote or press A button to return to the Wii menu.

NO! it's a propper wii controller but it looks like the game cube one...

Then thats it.. plug that in to the WiiMote (Where the Nunchuk goes) and that should work..

Have you got a nintendo wii? these a flap on the top of the wii right... thats where it goes it doesn't go intto the Wiimote

when you buy them it says which controllers it's compatible with...
some aren't compatible with the gamecube one, only the classic one.

I sense you anger and I agree they dont have a clue. Try blowing in the plug bit etc. Does it work with your gamecube games and other VC games?

I do have a Nintendo Wii, and the little flap on the Nintendo Wii console has nothing to do with this situation.. you plug the Classic Controller into the Original Wii Remote.
