The issue isnt guns. The issue is WHO is allowed to hold those guns.
America should have stricter rules on gun control. People should have to apply for liscenses and then have to keep the gun locked in a gun safe like we do here.
Some familys in america have loaded guns in ther bedroom drawrs. Lets remember a couple of years ago the little boy who found a loaded gun and shot his baby sister.
I understand that this isn't going to wipe the crime problem out in america but, if like in the uk, they do regular hand ins. They stop mass producing guns. Slowely they will become scarce and it wont be so easy to do these mass shootings.
In america theres nearly more guns then people which isn't right.
What happend in VT was horrific. Alot of innocent people died, people who would most proberly have been an asset to america. They were bright kids, not long away from graduation the most of them.
The press have made this more personal. They have shown us pictures, told us back stories and things about the victims and murderer.
I think thats why people seem more shocked about this then the killings in Iraq and places.
Alos, Cho was supposedly an intelligent boy.
Some people just make excuses for suicide bombers etc by saying they were just under educated or that they knew no better.
The same can be thought about the victims in Iraq.
This ISN'T true but it is the way the media is displaying things.
Personally i think any loss of human life is just as bad as any other but that is not an oponion shared by all.
Rip everyone who has died unjustly.
