Best of luck mate, operations are horrible but they do help in the end!

(If it didn't help it'd be a damn contridictive statment )

My tips for you would be to..

1. Eat - Helps people get through the day
2. Watch television
3. Bring a laptop in (You'll get a tinternet connection and everything)
4. Be as descriptive as possible - BUPA will do everrrrrything as you ask!
5. Get them to wheel you round in a wheelchair (Brilliant fun!)
6. Tell your mates - They'll come and visit and also probably get kicked out of the hospital

Daft as this sounds, but enjoy it. For a couple of days you are practically free from exams/coursework and schoolwork (UNLESS they have teachers there, which when I went to my local hosp - they did )
