arctic monkeys - favourite worst nightmare.

has really, really, really grown on me recentely. it hasn't got the press it deserved, got a massive hype and then it all died down. but, it's still an amazing album. favourite tracks; "d is for dangerous", "brianstorm", "old yellow bricks" and "balaclava." there are a couple of weaker tracks, but they're not bad. they're just not as good in comparison with the rest [:

hard-fi - once apon a time in the west / stars of cctv.

they're my favourite band, so obviously, i'm going to recommend them but they truly are good albums. OAATINTW is much more "poppier" than stars, but, they're both very good. stars is more indie, stand out tracks are mainly the singles "tied up too tight", "hard to beat", "cash machine", "living for the weekend". but unreleased tracks such as "move on now" are amazing. OAATINTW appeals to wider audience i guess, "suburban knights" big indie-pop summery anthem with more poppy ballads such as "watch me fall apart" but it's all really good. stars of cctv, imo, is better, but i'd recommend both
