Let's hope you get good anesthetic. I woke up from my operation last week ago and all I could taste was anesthetic for ages. Plus I was sick all over Recovery.

No, I got the mask thing, where they put a mask over your nose and mouth and you breathe in and out for about 10 seconds then you fall asleep.

i got a drip when i had my operation
and i was put to sleep with gas i think

It probably hurts more than getting tonsilitus all the time, so think of it that way.

You will get probably sleep there for 1 day.
Then the next, you will wake up and be informed of your operation, and asked not to drink or eat, so it will probably be quite early.
You will get wheeled off in your bed to a big room, where they will either give you a needle, then put a smiley face over it or gas you :rolleyes:.

You will wake up ear enough at the end.
In a big isolated room, which smells funny.
In no pain at all.

Then get wheeled back
Lots of Ice-Cream and water.

And you will probably be sick.

I remember stealing alot of things.
Little cotton things aint got a clue what they were.

But I had a suitcase with me, as my condition got worse.
And had to stay a few extra days.

No pain, I didnt even cry, and I was 5. (or younger)

I had an operation in my mouth (3rd set of teeth LMAO!)
they said it was gonna be like 45 minutes but it was hard to get to them so it was like 4 hours long, I had a needle with this white stuff in it and its SUPER funny when it goes up your arm when they inject because your so high on nerves and adrenaline from being nervous you dont feal the needle at all really! And i was on a drip and oxygen tube down into my lugs because it was in my mouth all the blood coming out i couldnt breath
WRECKED for like 1 month afterwards but it was worth it
