Because in the North of the top most country of Britain (which is quite far north as it is) you expect it to snow a lot. It'd be impressive in Cornwall, but not somewhere on the same Latitude as Alaska and the great Majority of Canada.

False, due to the north atlantic drift, and the ocean currents we receive warmer weather and receive about a 10th of new york etc which is the same latitude, if we didn't have those currents then we would be in snow all year round

I remember those days. In Toronto, it's heated up. Today was like 13 degrees celcius, I wore flats and a vest, felt so nice. There's no snow on the ground. It's supposed to warm up so I'm bringing out spring clothing
