    The tips theyv'e given you on this forum are bog standard

    Swimming? no that will not get you that far, you will have to do constant swimming for atleast 30 minutes every session (which is very hard) and even then you would only tone out your shoulders and you wouldn't gain much muscle mass.

    Shoulder Press? yes this will work, you will need to do high weight (high weight for your current strength level) with every set of the shoulder press you should try and do your best 3-7 reps and LONG rest periods.
    What i would do in free weights;
    20kg on each arm (40kg) and i would do about 5-10 reps (don't count, stop when you think you should) then i would have about 45-60 secound rest period

    Now there is alot more other methods but your diet is almost as important as your training, you should be eating about 75g on your training day and about 50-60g every day your not training

    As far as wrists are concerned THEY CAN BE EXCERCISED with great results.
    An easy way is to grab a barbell (heavy weight) hold it with both hands and rotate your wrists doing half barbell curls

    Sorry i can't provide any visual tutorials though
    Good luck

    If you want your wrists to look bigger you have to work on your forearm strength.

    Getting stronger forearms will make the tendons round the wrist grow and be thicker, making your wrists look bigger!

    To work on your forearms get some dumbells and bend your wrists back and forth,
    but search it on google for a better tutorial because that was rubbish - sorry !
