I CANT bear my dad any longer now.

My dad keeps argueing at me and saying I'm going to have to pay for everything I use on sunday as my money runs out, **** sake.

My dad is like this in some ways. When he's not arguing with my mother he picks on me because he thinks i'm too scared to stand up to him. He decides one day he likes me and the next day he hates me and can't wait until he moves out so he can't see me again.
Tbh, i think you should sit down with him and talk to him about the way you feel.
Try not to let him get to you though.

Pretty much the same situation as me haha.

my dad picks on me all the time, he yells and argues at me for no reason, it was about the tv this morning, he woke me up 2 yell at me because the red light was on it or something :S? then told me i couldnt have a shower, but i got one anyway and im not allowed pocket money and that he wants me out of his house woo

although, if i've been to the toilet and forgot to close the door my dad will wait until i'm at the top of the stairs to shout me back down to close it. he is so annoying! he's trying to "teach me a lesson" and "learn" - sometimes it's just a general mistake?! sake.

it's somewhat reassuring to know that other people experience this too. i thought it was just my dad who was a *****. pfft i can't wait to move out and get on with my life, stress free :/

yeah, recently i've just let it go over my head. i haven't spoke to him in like 3 days.

i once moved out for 8 months because if i had stayed i would've killed him.
i think that may be happening again soon :/

it's so unfair though, parents are suppost to encourage you and support you, but my dad says i'm too old now and that i should know by myself. he buys my brother everything and it's not fair. i mean, when i was his age i didn't get anything bought for me, he wouldn't even think of buying me something i desperately needed, socks or deodrant or something. he thinks the problem's with me, but it's not..he just can't see that, but it's kind of obvious because his other daughter couldn't move out fast enough!
