Abbie, I saw that on a TV program the other day.. weird stuff!

From what I recall, you are allowed to take cigerettes but not lighters or matches. Matches is a definate no-no, but if you really want to see about a lighter, take it with you and ask someone from security. They might say to put it in a clear-plastic bag, they might say to dispose of it.

If you still want one, just buy one in a duty-free shop when you're through security.

    Don't worry.

    1. Jeremy 1129 up, 295 downA named based on the biblical name Jeremiah. Used as a name for children who are blessed with a large brain and/or penis. Also used as a replacement for "perfect".
We had a child and it had a very large penis so we named it Jeremy.

You will have all lighters removed from your hand luggage, obviously.

    Old but yeah..

Yes your allowed to take 1 lighter or 1 box of safety matches.

The rule is 1 lighter, however I took 5 through Manchester before and they really didn't care.. Where as Stansted are strict and will only let you have one.

But yeah, you are deff allowed 1

Oh and ****, take as many as you like, your allowed

Yeah you sure can take them on the airplane and they do sell them on board sometimes as well. You're just not allowed to smoke I don't think there is any air line that allowes smoking on board.
