    When the rule was first introduced (I can't remember whether it was when I was away or before I came MM, either way I wasn't there) I always took the line that it goes against common sense and judgement. I have actually put it to forum management that it be revised to leave it to the moderators' discretion, we shall wait and see

    There is no set time. It depends on the topic and the post added to discussion. Not all threads have a set time line so that rule should probably be edited to make it fair for all threads, by saying it varies on the thread and the information added in a new post.

    I've not seen any problems with bumped threads past this time limit though, so the Moderation Team must be doing a good job

    refering to an earlier post abount conditioning

    yeah there should be conditions my pokemon platinum thread for instance it stopped 25th i posted around the 8th saying about all the updates
    and that got closed due to "bumping"
    although it was perfectly reasonable
