But it would only show if you do it by admin cp.
When you say impersonate people, how does having the ability to use colours and bold etc allow you to do that? You could do it with the normal options now that VIP's have. And if they did, a MOD would probally catch them out.
Whilst that's true, it's still not possible unless VIPs were given admincp access and that won't be happening!
Most usertitle changes have gotta be done by Admin CP unless it's like a 3 word sentence
It can only be done via admincp, it's just the way it works lol, so it doesn't matter what people put it can't be done.
EDIT: VIP's can change there usertitle, but only normal fonts (No colouring or sizing) without line breaks.
Yeah, someone could put <!--[if IE 5]> in there user title and the rest of the page would only display for people using Internet Explorer 5. But maybe you could limit HTML in user titles to <b> <i> <u> ect?The reason you can't add HTML by yourself is because there are certain commands that will do nasty things. That's as far as my technical knowledge goes I'm afraidOff the top of my head, embedding massive images, direct links to porn sites, redirects. I'm not a HTML expert so I don't know the really nasty ones
Lets set the stage on fire, and hollywood will be jealous.
Surely vBulletins have the feature where you can allow certain groups to edit their usertitles? I don't mean by adding html or anything like that, but just bog standard text. vBs are way behind if they don't have this feature :/

VIP's can change there usertitles by going to there usercp, but they can't use coding and it has a shorter word limit.
