You can have snakes as pets as long as they aren't a rare breed and aren't that dangerous.

Uh, you can have them dangerous and rare. You can buy reticulated pythons which reach 30ft....

Snakes are the coolest pets to have.. and they're cheap. Their habitat can be a little expensive initially (heaters etc) but other than that, cheap as chips.

Corns are, you're looking £100+ for others.

It's a bit cruel to keep them locked in a tiny tank tbh.

They like it actually They feel safe enclosed, but not too small.

I work in a reptile shop. You need to learn your place... Some snakes are to be handled, others not.

Are they expensive to maintain, I was thinking of getting one but just wondered if it was expensive like having them if you get me.

And if he/she worked in a reptile shop, surley he would know the answer if he can say

Depends per, snake as each snake requires different heating and housing arrangments.
