Are they expensive to maintain, I was thinking of getting one but just wondered if it was expensive like having them if you get me.

Not at all, I feed mine once every 2 weeks which cost me about £2-3 and i buy the substraight in bulk so it dosn't cost much at all.

You can have snakes as pets as long as they aren't a rare breed and aren't that dangerous.

Snakes are the coolest pets to have.. and they're cheap. Their habitat can be a little expensive initially (heaters etc) but other than that, cheap as chips.

Not all snakes are cheap, mine is worth £190. But every thing else is. Apart from the viv (what you keep them in) and heaters. : )
