    Belkin aren't a particularly good brand .


    If you wanted to, you could share the hard drive on your network through your computer. Your computer would have to be turned on any time someone wanted to access the hard drive since it's connected to your computer though .

    Personally I think it's totally worth it getting a NAS HDD, it provides awesome access and easy backup throughout the network and potential for things such as FTP access.

    We have a Buffalo one which cost about £110 last year, it's only 250GB and I guess you could easily get 1TB for that price these days but I still think it's worth it.

    Belkin has never let me down, and quiet frankly i've never seen a review on a product i've purchased saying it's really bad, most are fine, everytime i've got a belkin product it's been fine.

    Most Belkin products come with a lifetime warranty, I've had my wireless router 6 years and replaced it a couple of years ago. Basically free routers for life
    That went fast.
