You can. My friends HDD broke and bought a 32GB Memory Card and played on Halo 3 (not much as the DLC is req. for most playlists and HDD is req. for Campaign, but still Social Slayer)

Because you can't save your gamesaves. Can't save your profiles, can't do anything. I got the 120GB elite, as I watch alot of movies streaming from my PC and also put them onto my Xbox.

I save my gamesaves, profiles. But the movies would be good I guess, if I had it on disk could i put it onto the xbox
