Might be true, but it's not as if Windows users don't think Windows is better and they've never used a Mac before.

But for the ones who have used a Mac before and still use Vista, have a valid argument.

I thought I post this, this is what Apple said about the new Microsoft adverts

"A PC is no bargain when it doesn't do what you want .... The one thing that both Apple and Microsoft can agree on is that everyone thinks the Mac is cool. With its great designs and advanced software, nothing matches it at any price."

Funny thing is, it doesn't do what a big proportion of PC users want it to do... GAME!

You say that as if you have some guy standing there taking hours to put a machine together, in actual fact they are on an assembly line maybe with Dells two conveyor belts down the factory floor. A computer is a computer, they can be flung together in 5 minutes and that is what they do!
I totally agree with you here!

The only thing about the inside of Macs are that all the wires are neat and it's really tidy, but from what I've noticed this is pointless and annoying. I went into my PowerMac to change the DVD drive with a new one, and the cables are so tidy it made it a real pain in the arse to change the drive because the wires wouldn't move.

I'm both a Mac and a PC user, but I do find PC better. Take this for example: Microsoft made a product called Songsmith, which was really cool and innovative, but because it was a Microsoft product, everyone thought it would suck. If it had been Apple iSinger (tedious?) then everyone would have instantly loved it and be raving about how good it is... Arrogant or just pessimistic?

It all depends on what you want out of a computer, if you play a lot of high resource games then the last thing your going to want is a Mac, but if your more into the arts (art, music, graphics etc) then a Mac is going to be much better because thats what they are designed to be better at.

You pay more for a Mac because they are built better than most PC's, each product has been designed carefully with every little thing thought out where as PC's tend to be flung together in 5 minutes to produce something that is cheep and nothing else.
That's the biggest load of turd burgers I've ever read... I hate it when people think all PCs are terrible, hinting towards they're all made by the same company. It depends on the parts, the OS is reliable. It's like a car. A car is reliable, it just crashes due to the control of a human behind them. A Mac is unreliable just as a PC is. I thought these dead end arguments died years ago? :S

"Ha" at the Apple response. That's all I've got to say. A PC is a bargain, any PC even a top of the range PC is a bargain compared to a Mac really. They don't even base their opinions around fact. They're ideology is "It looks nice, everyone thinks it is".

Macs aren't even "art" based systems :/ I'm on my Vista PC at this moment, and strangely mine can make videos, play music and make graphics. Saying that suggests Adobe CS3 shouldn't be opening :/ I don't see an error coming up saying "You're on a PC. This is no ART MACHINE!!!"

Very true. Mac users who have used Windows before also have a valid argument.

I game on OSX. When I find a game I can't run it's called BootCamp or VirtualBox. Works like a charm every time.

No no no. Software matters. Vista isn't the software that works. In my opinion, the OS is not reliable. A Mac is as unreliable as a PC is it? Hmm... ever use one? (rhetorical question btw).

PCs are bargains, as long as I can ditch that Vista crap in exchange for OSX/XP.

....and you thought your head was aching

I know I've already claimed the name of being the average of whom automatically think Mac is a better product, though regardless if I know the system in and out, if it suits my needs, it's my type.

I'm not at all into your WOW and Counter-strike, assuming that is what you all are referring to as GAMING. So, regardless, I wouldn't cross paths with anything of that sort on a Mac.

But from what I'm reading, overall Apple produces a better OS, while Microsoft produces a better machine?
