Default Respose to the Mac adverts

Microsoft have got it right this time I'd say, they've got back once again at the Mac adverts

Luckily for them, there are plenty of great PC options for their under-$1500 budget. Sure, they veer off in the middle there, almost buying a Mac -- which Lisa notes are "popular at this age" (we guess what she meant to say is that they're for children). Regardless, they're both so turned off by the cute-but-small computers that they hurry back to the affordable VAIO section and make off with a sweet 16-incher. But hey, don't take our word for it -- check out the really real mother and son for yourself in the full video after the break

That's the crappiest commercial of life actually. Why do I want to see to people who no nothing about computers get coned into buying some ripoff Sony Vaio?

What happened to the I'm a PC and I turn number two into energy adds? Those were good.

And when the memory stick's full, the email fails to send or another error occurs, he cries because he has no clue what he's doing.

My little sister's 5 and she knows how to use my PC. She's not exactly perfect at it, but she can get onto cbeebies, use paint, save pictures, view pictures and she can almost print and put music on, but she usually needs a bit of help doing it.

Microsoft are worried because when they decided to make those Ad's Apple's market share was increasing while PC's market share was decreasing quickly.

It all depends on what you want out of a computer, if you play a lot of high resource games then the last thing your going to want is a Mac, but if your more into the arts (art, music, graphics etc) then a Mac is going to be much better because thats what they are designed to be better at.

You pay more for a Mac because they are built better than most PC's, each product has been designed carefully with every little thing thought out where as PC's tend to be flung together in 5 minutes to produce something that is cheep and nothing else.

Well considering kids are being taught how to use a computer from pre-school nowadays I see no problem with it.

Your typical computer fail-bot. The one who doesn't really know what hes talking about and so goes for the "Mac is better!111one!111!11111 1#11!1" option.

Macs aren't made for arts at all? Just remember a professional movie/audio/photo editor doesn't use that iLife crap, they use a suite like Adobe Master Collection CS4, which funilly enough you can get on a PC.

You say that as if you have some guy standing there taking hours to put a machine together, in actual fact they are on an assembly line maybe with Dells two conveyor belts down the factory floor. A computer is a computer, they can be flung together in 5 minutes and that is what they do!
