I don't see why managers can't upload to a uploadpicz account, Yes it did go down once but least its faster for the rare to go public really.

Because what happend to Danube when he deleted a bunch of images and majority of habbox's rv images died and changed to picture of cats/chinese people etc.

Like I've said before - I doubt he did it himself - he isn't like that. I believe the blame was placed onto him because someone made an oopsie. I don't think managers should use their uploadpicz account but it's so much easier and if they cared about their position then they would because they don't want people waiting for values.

Elaborate. If you think he deleted the images manually then he isn't going to care about any "rules" because he has no interest in HxF any longer.

Rules to prevent the use of personal accounts to upload images.

As if a member gets fired etc, they could simply have a retaliation and delete images then half of them are screwed...

If they're uploaded on habbox.com server then they can't exactly delete the images can they.

Even if uploadpicz is used for a small period of time when a rare is released, it should then be hosted on habbox.com and changed.

Then I suggest you get someone who can upload them as quick as uploadpicz can. People are busy - they can't let their lives revolve around uploading rare value images onto the server. I'm not blaming any individuals but in the past it has taken way too long for images to be added to the server.

What is the alternative? Upload them yourself and allow the images to be shown to the public in a matter of minutes. A matter of a minutes VS 2-3 days - it was always going to happen because all the RVM have cared about Habbox. Not everyone shares the same enthusiasm, unfortunately.

If you read what i said i said; allow them to be uploaded onto peoples uploadpicz but then in 2-3 days once its uploaded on habbox change it.

So for the first few days it would be linked to the uploadpicz image, but after the few days when its finally uploaded on habbox link it to it, so the image is still being posted instantly but there isn't a chance of 50 images going missing due to a manager (accidently or purposely) deleting the images.

I mean it takes about 3 seconds to upload each images so its not a matter of time really...

Maybe that is an option, get one of the content staff access to the images folder with FTP access to only it, a trusted member of the team, and allow them access to upload the images...

I remember when i was staff in 04/05 i was given the job of uploaded pictures (when habbox had a page on hx.com for people who purchased VIP they got a little bit with their name and a picture they wanted on and i'd upload the pictures)...

Don't see why someone else can't do that, it's not exactly hard just get an active person whos in content department or even the RVM himself to upload the pictures then you can't really complain about it taking too long as they'd have the responsibility of uploading the images.

What's the point of it being done twice? Hassle that nobody needs.

because we don't lose 50 images and have to wait 3-5 months to get them re-uploaded.

Simply that and if you read more than the first few lines you'd see an alternative to uploading on up then hx.
