Wasn't it recently said all images should be uploaded to Habbox, due to the fact of Danube removing his account or something..

Just lazy managers not uploading to the server.

Yeh but got dismissed as management took way too long to upload the images or something, so if a rare got released it couldn't get put on habbox as the image wasn't there something like that :S and as RVM can't upload the image themself they can't do nothing


imho they should just crease a section like /images/rares or something and give manager FTP access to it to add images, wahts worst they can do.. and its not as if the manager should be untrustworthy..

And ye, about what you said about when a new rare comes out, it needs one RVM and maybe an ARVM a week or so to sit down and upload any outstanding non-uploaded pictures then as a new rare comes out it will take 5 mins to add it if they havnt got the picture and less if thy have.

From what im aware jin / (a)gm's have to upload the images... so apparently not? :p

I always thought that when Jake was RVM he could upload pictures, also, (asst) content managers can upload images too

Manager aren't allowed to upload images onto the server when I was there (the first time). I used to have to PM ---MAD--- and then wait for him to do it. It's easy for you lot to sit there and blame the manager but there is nothing you as a manager can do. You can collect the images but you will still have to wait for them to be added by a server by somebody who understands how to do so. Whether it's a hard job adding them is irrelevant.

In the end I was the first manager to start using my uploadpicz account because it took too long. There were other rare value sites that would add the images and value instantly yet it'd take me days to have them added thus I took things into my own hands and used uploadpicz. I was assured images would never be deleted from there thus I didn't see why I shouldn't. People remained doing this. It could have so easily been resolved had images been added within 24 hours rather than up to 5 days.

I believe Jin adds them now and when I was there the other month he managed to do them within 24 hours which is obviously a lot better than the previous regime.

Also, about the missing images I wouldn't blame Danube too much. From what I gather the images were deleted by accident and then the blame was taken off the individual in question and placed onto him. I added the majority of what I saw as the "important" images but yeah I didn't add many seasonal/misc because my fundamental aim was to replace the super and normal rare images.

The images should be moved to the server but that'd take hours of work. I can speak for myself and I'm sure the others will agree I will never manually delete any of the images off my account so they should be safe. Of course that is uploadpicz had to delete all images or whatever.

In short, I'm sure Ryan or whoever manages the department are doing whatevery they can to ensure you as a user are given the best quality rare values you can. It's a transitional period for the department in my eyes so you're going to have to be patient.

Netaxes has been working hard to get all the images that are missing, and soon they'll be sent to nvrspk so they can be uploaded properly.

I'm not sure what he has but I have loads also. I had the majority collected before I left but just never got around to giving them to Ryan. I don't want to upload if he has them all already
