    My side panel fans came blowing into the case across the graphics card.

    With that you're blowing hot air that's come across the graphics card onto the CPU though.

    Surely the incoming airflow come across the GPU and is sucked in and through it then out through the GPU exhaust?

    Meh, I suppose that part of the air that crosses the GPU would be, but it's a large 22cm fan, so the most part of it is going to be blowing air in to where the CPU is, so working against the CPU fan imo. Blowing hot air that's being taken off the heatsink by the CPU fan straight back on to it.

    He will have a side blowing CPU fan though, so I suppose an in blowing side fan could work better.

    I usually have side fans blowing out to work with the stock CPU coolers that are in the PCs I build. To be fair I think a small side fan would be best blowing out and a large one best blowing in. Whatever gives you the best temperatures though.

    Anyway, I can try different setups of my fans and see which is best. Thanks for all your help in the thread guys. 5 days to go =)
