he showed it to me, I saw a great difference between the second and first stage teeth. Can he be wrong that there's no second stage tooth coming out? Anybody who knows this, is a upcoming tooth always visible on a x-ray?

Which tooth is it? I wouldn't worry if its a molar, but if its at the front you could simply get a fake one. I doubt that you don't have an adult tooth and it's rather rare... If you're that worried see another dentist or orthodontist, don't worry it's a tooth ;P

You can easily get it extracted at an older age and buy a fake one. As a matter of fact, chances are that your teeth may be growing too closely together and you'll end up needing to extract two so they can grow with more space and look better.

It's my 2nd premolar (from the front) on the lower jaw

Also, when he first told me I have a missing adult tooth, I happily said that's a good thing right? But when he told me that there is no other tooth coming, I was shocked. I then asked him why this has happened and he simply said "I HAVE NO IDEA" though, it is very common and some people are missing adult teeth from an entire jaw. So you're pretty lucky!

Seeing as I can't find anything about this on the internet - maybe cause I don't know the conditions name or maybe just cause it's such a rare thing.

    why me...

I really hope my family can afford implants, seeing as they cost quite a lot. A bridge is a big no no according to my father as they "ruin two perfectly natural and healthy teeth".

If the tooth hasn't started to develop then it won't show up on an x-ray, no. You could have a hole, then you could fill it with whatever you wish and then 5 years later your tooth could develop and then you'd be £thousands out of pocket and a friggin painful mouth. I'd definately try to get a second opinion whether it be from a dentist, a dentists forum (try Googling because I found a site once that allowed you to e-mail a fully qualified dentist with your questions - quite a good, free service).

My teeth are ****e anyway. I drink about 2-4 pints of milk a day since a very early age, brush regularly and they're crap. It's a bummer tbh.

Thanks a lot guys, I'm not that worried about it anymore tbh.. but does anyone know where I can find a website explaining why this has happened? I will try calling local dentists.

Calm down, about 6 months ago they decided to take one of my adult molars out because it had a hole in it or something and a fill in wouldn't do much. I'm probably around your age as well, I just said "ok whatever, take it out" and they did a few weeks later. I really can't see any reasons to be so worked up about a tooth.

What he said. Simple, easy and not amazingly painful.
