    Default teeth

I just came back from the dentist, they've found out that apparently one of my teeth are still milk (first stage) and that no second stage teeth will ever emerge... This means I will have a hole in my mouth for the rest of my life seeing as a milk tooth's life goal is to commit suicide, and no matter what I do it will slowly vanish.

Has anybody had or heard about this? What is my future? Will I go the rest of my life with a hole in my mouth or something? The dentist said something about a bridge but said we have to deal with this later when I'm 18 or something so my body will be matured.

    I'm so depressed right now.

First of all, how old are you? If you're still young, then it's normal to have that milk teeth. If not, I suggest you go to another dentist, because this dentist could have made a mistake. Don't believe me? Here's a real story about my dad going to the dentist:

My dad has quite a few dental cavities. Every so often he'd have to go to the dentist to get 'em filled. Since he's a civil servant, he gets to go to the government dentists for free. Last July, he made a trip there and was told that he had a small hole in one of his lower jaw molars that needed to be filled the next time he went, which would be a year later.

In December, however, I went to see an orthodontist (since I was told by the government that I needed surgery to reconstruct my jaws) to get my jaws checked out and ask whether or not I really needed surgery. The orthodontist is a professor and the best in my city. Anyway, back to my dad. He figured that he might as well get the cavity filled and the orthodontist agreed. Upon looking into it, the orthodontist was like "Woah, that hole can't wait until next July! It's massive!" and proceeded to work on it. After getting it done, my dad asked him, "Um, I thought the cavity was on my lower jaw, so how come you were working on my upper jaw?"

So yeah, basically the government dentist missed out this massive hole in the upper jaw which would have only lasted for half a year at max and only paid attention to the smaller hole which could last over a year.

Haha i start dental assisting school in august. There should be a way to get a fake tooth, they look natural and stuff. My sister has 2 and they look great. So you don't have to be toothless.

No, but the dentist may have made a mistake looking at it.
