    I think the word "google" is a measurement so that won't be... But "Google" might be as the name for the company - besides, the word can be spoken and written, so there's no law against saying "To Google" unless a company tries to take the name of Google and implement it into their own company.

    EDIT: Googol is a measurement/number, google isn't

    Nope nether of them are, the brands/logos and names are however trademarked which allows them to stop other companies using there branding without permission or pretending to be them.
    Trademarking unlike copyright is expensive and will cost you a lot to maintain

    You aren't paying royalties for saying habbo, google, yahoo or anything else after all are you :p

    What is this word anyhow? i suspect it'll likely exist in urban dictionary anyway :p
