    Can i copywright a word.

    5 letters long, i started saying it, now people use it and i want to copywright, so i can sue there bottom and then say my word to them, knowing they legally can't say it back without attribution to me

    Yes you can, but you can't just copyright it because of that.
    If you use it as a slogan for products then you can.

    Thats more a phrase not a word, like you can't put as the slogan "Amazing" then copyright it lol.

    It can still be copyrighted, UK copyright office isn't has lenient(sp?) as the USA one.

    You can't make a product and put as the slogan "Amazing" then copyright it, then sue anyone who says "Amazing"....

    i think you can trademark a word/phrase but not copyright it, that's just for works, like essays, photos, videos etc.
