I am guessing you have tried this but you could ask if you could just be friends again? perhaps you would feel better with atleast her friendship back?

This could make things harder though. Its definitely difficult to get over stuff like this, it takes time and usually something like meeting someone else even just a new exciting friend speeds up the healing, so you really do need to make an effort with your friends.
