Me too. Although as Joe said, it's far too big a task for a just few people to take on. The only way for it to be successful is if it's done like a Wiki page whereby anyone can contribute.
I'm not sure if we'd set up a usersystem for people to use, or just have it so they can send in certain bits of information that we'll then add. I'll discuss it with people later![]()

Habbox would never implement it so anyone could contribute. They might have a function where it has to be approved first but then who would want to read through the vast amounts of information. Half the staff probably wouldn't know if it was true or not anyway.
The one I used and helped set up was for Disney's online game: VMK. It was a game used to draw people into their theme parks and generally promote the company more. It was an amazing game, just wished it stayed open longer than 3 yearsIt would be like Wikipedia and all Wiki sites; where users can create/edit pages themselves. And there would obviously be Mods to supervise this.
Thanks. Was that Neopets you're talking about lol? I remember making an account on that just because people used to always trade Habbo for it

The program they used was simply WikiMedia. You can set up the members system yourself - taking in editors to edit specific pages, and admins / moderators to oversee everything. The forum that set it up had a specific usergroup on the site. You'd just put in a good reason why you wanted to edit it, and if you were generally trustworthy they'd let you edit specific parts. Of course, by using WikiMedia it's easy to restore any information if it's deleted - intentionally or not.

Yeah I don't think Habbox should do it tbh.
Either Habborator should do it in their style or someone should just start a fresh in the Wiki style.
Oh, sounds cool. I'll look into this WikiMediaThe one I used and helped set up was for Disney's online game: VMK. It was a game used to draw people into their theme parks and generally promote the company more. It was an amazing game, just wished it stayed open longer than 3 years.

Edit: I found some information:
http://www.wikihow.com/Start-a-Wiki
and the steps to actually start a Wiki:
http://www.wikia.com/wiki/Start_a_new_Wikia
I'm interested in persueing if anyone else is? I wouldn't have the website experieince to set it up by myself.
Edit: this sounds even better. You download the programme that powers Wikipedia so you can set up your own completely (the other link shows you how to make one that has ".wikia" at the end of your URL, so this ie better).
