Habbo Wiki?

I didn't post this in 'Ideas' because it's not an idea for Habbo to do so I didn't think it would be correct?

I was just thinking, with all the fansites that have been around, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Habbo version of Wikipedia. So I did a Google search and came accross Habbopedia. No offence to whoever runs it, but it's not even worth making a link here, from what I can tell (for example, it doesn't have a page for Callie or Jibbi and says Lost_Witness is current UK manager). It's not really set out like Wikipedia properly anyway.

Anyway, I reckon something like Habborator would be able to do a really good job of this. They'd probably do it in their own style however, which would be cool.

I don't know what it might be called.. maybe Duckipedia or something lol? For a realy good example of what I mean, check out the Pokémon one: Bulbapedia. That has like every fact about Pokémon and the games, it's fantastic. I think a Habbo version would be awesome.

What does everyone else think?

This could be something Habbox.com could expand on in the future, IMO.
I played another game (which closed), but there was a page for every aspect of the game. What furniture was avaliable, which was retired, how much it cost in credits, how it was obtainable, etc.

EVERYTHING about the game was there, and I think it would be interesting for Habbo to have one too. The Habbox rare values could be incorporated into this somehow too... :rolleyes:

It wouldn't look good or unique if Habbox did it though. They'd probably just setup another joomla site

This is a little niche which a major fansite could work on and if done right could be huge. I'd like to see Habbox try this sort of thing, perhaps someone could make a thread on it in Habbox Feedback and get some comments on what people think about Habbox doing it.

That would be ok. Habbox already has its own kind-of habbopedia but thats just fr the UK and would need to be extended dramatically.

Its a good idea but would take years to collate all the correct information. It would have to be like a UK fansite, then maybe america, canadian, australian etc. Untill it as all hotels.

It would be like Wikipedia and all Wiki sites; where users can create/edit pages themselves. And there would obviously be Mods to supervise this .

Thanks . Was that Neopets you're talking about lol? I remember making an account on that just because people used to always trade Habbo for it .

But do it like the old Habbo Knowledge page which wasn't part of joomla so we can make it sexy. and it can replace the habbo knowledge page we have now which i hate

No harm in trying. I'd happily help in parts although I wouldn't be allowed to do anything official, I would happily write things up should anything like this go ahead. Especially to pass my time throughout the summer
