Edit: I'm not really that old, I've just seen Ice Age and its sequels a few times.

yeah but the rate of which that it's happening is alarming. it's hard to tell whether that the ice is melting at a much 'higher than natural' rate.

Yeah nobodies saying that ice isn;t melting. But this guys exaggerting it to the max. He's pretty much trying to scare us into action, get people on his side by telling the the worst IS happening, when actually it's not.

Sure we need to make changes, as even if the earth is naturally heating, we ARE contributing.

99% of scientists support the theory of global warming, to some extent its happening. The problem is 99% of politicians make no pledge to combat it.

global pollution is wrecking the planet and if it means champions of the cause such as Al Gore over exaggerate its effect (what politicians dont over egg it??) then so be it.

I love this planet and I wont stick my fingers in my ears and pretend everythings fine and dandy.
    something.

99% of government-paid scientists say its real, you got that right. On Al Gore, you support a man like that to tell people lies and create a climate of fear over something which has little or even no proof as I believe that it even exists?

    Where is this global warming?
Where are the sea level rises?
Where are the terrible events its supposed to cause?

There simple are none, i'm all for protecting the Earth as I believe a nice enviroment such as parks, trees and so on create a nice looking area and generally make people proud of where they live - but to go along with this nonsense I will not do as I used to.

The funny part of that is that you edited your post to clarify that you were not serious, thanks for believing in my intelligence!!1!

well i'm not totally convinced but i'll try to give you some sort of answers.

    Where is this global warming?
Supposedly everywhere. The summers have been pretty hot over europe last summer.
Where are the sea level rises?
They aren't exactly going to be swallowing up london any time soon but mauritious (i really cba to spell) is getting smaller and smaller.
Where are the terrible events its supposed to cause?
Well they reckon that Hurricane Katrina could have been caused by more cold water in the Caribbean. events like the day after tomorrow are a large exaggeration.

Also, another factoid is if you melt ice in a glass of water, the glass won't get any taller, so saying all the ice disappearing will raise the sea level x amount is probably inaccurate, as the only ice we should care about is the ice on top of the land and not in the sea, of which there isn't that much.

Al Gore needs a slap. All results should be taken with a pinch of salt, but hey it's hot in the winter. I'm just going to go play in the snow in this obviously warm climate.
if you think its warm in the snow you must be wearing lots of layers, seriously im not going to worry about it because if it was serious they would of done somethink.
    i love sunflowers hen.

According to this graph which i'm posting now, global temperatures have not changed in the past ten years, along with the fact that according to Paul Nuttall (MEP) this is a scientific fact. See here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snYggNfazKI
