    I would stick with doing it through iTunes though, purely because it should find the album name, track names and such. Thats the one thing I hate about Media Player. I used to use it for ripping CDs (before I bought an iPod), and I had to go through EVERY track and rename it BY HAND

    It should automatically get them :S

    I would get Exact Audio Copy and MP3 LAME to rip music personally

    Remember that when renaming all of them, I was importing through Media Player. Which for some reason refuses to get track names.

    I've always found media player to be fine for ripping music, sorry Maybe you've unticked a setting somewhere.

    Nah, for some reason it doesn't do it on any of the systems I've tried (both WMP 10 and 11, on at least 2 XP and 2 Vista machines)
