Used to be GraysAthChaz
When I was about 10, I was with my mother and we drove out some place and stopped at a shop. I remember we stopped to do something for a couple of seconds, whether it was because we had forgotten something or not, I can't remember, but on the way back, at a roundabout, a white van zoomed past us just as we crossed and crashed into the middle of the roundtable. If we were literally two seconds later, he would have hit us at about 70mph.
Re: 7/7, no trains were hijacked.
Two trains and one bus was blown up/hijacked. Two of the attackers were british muslims and the other one was an african muslim (I think).
MUMFORD
It depends what way you look at it, socially the term has been made unpleasant however what do you call someone from Australia? An Aussie. What do you call someone from Pakistan?
Wouldn't use the word but that's down to sociaty.
Well, my mum and dad were suppose to get married on the day that the twin towers happened and we were in Disney Land. They had to shut the park down and everyone was running around screaming. :|
It doesn't depend how you look at it, the word is offensive whether it should be or not. It's irrelevant that you can call an Australian an Aussie.
If you use the word in a school, you will get in trouble, if you used it in a workplace, you will be disciplined most likely, if you used it in a police station you would probably be arrested and if you use it on here you'll be infracted. Just cause it doesn't make sense that it's offensive doesn't mean it's okay to use it.
That's because societys turned it into an offensive word just like any other word which is deemed offensive. It doesn't depend how you look at it, the word is offensive whether it should be or not. It's irrelevant that you can call an Australian an Aussie.

idc. you still can't use it.
Plus, the fact it's been turned into an offensive word, means you would only use it if you were trying to be offensive. Just say "Pakistani".
I didn't say you should use it. I said I wouldn't use it because of society, just like I don't say the C word.
And I'm not getting into the debate whether or not he used it in a racial way or not because we simply can't endulge that without his input.
Not similar to anything above but after a extremely miserable day at school i had to travel an hour distance for an appointment i had and because i was so miserable i didn't want to hear anything so wore my headphones top volume. I was then crossing the road 10 minutes away from the place and a bus crashed into me at like 20 mph and luckily i was just slammed onto the pavement and wasn't dragged underneath. Nothing major happened in the end but it was pretty scary.
