Default Ever had one of those 'final destination' style moments?

I did yesterday, after getting back from work which I forced myself to go to after being offered to drive down to guilford with my mate, he posted a facebook status with this picture:

So I could've been in hospital right now like the mate who did go down with him. Has anyone had a moment like this where they decide to do something else at the last minute then something goes wrong on the road you never taken? (metaphorically speaking on 'road' )

My dad avoided the 7/7 London bombings.
He was supposed to have returned from France at around 8:30 and then taken a train from kings cross back home. One of the trains that was bombed left kings cross at about the time he should have been there.
Luckily one of the people he was supposed to have been returning to England with was late so they had to take a later eurostar and effectively missed the bombings.

    Scary stuff.

Can't say anything freaky like that has happened to me that I know of.
I mean I take care of what I do, except at work where I seem to burn my arms a lot >_<

I left a room less than a minute after a massive wall board crashed down. If I hadn't left I probably would of been in the hospital with a very serious head injury.

Hmm that's not actually true, he would still be safe if he caught the train. Only in 2007 did Eurostar services transfer to Kings Cross St Pancras, he would of gone to Waterloo in 2005 and would of therefore missed the 7/7 attacks (All of which originated from Kings Cross).

That actually happened to about 6/7 people from my school, they missed one of the trains that was hijacked, and they were supposed to be on it. Very scary thoughts really. I've never had one myself, not sure i'd want to.
