Those silly dr. dre headphones are just as bad, you pay for the name and not for the quality. There are good brands out there that're known for their name and quality.

Some examples are: Audio-Technica, AKG, Grado. I personally own a pair of Audio-Technica headphones and they are pretty fabulous.

Correct. Bose are decent, but for half the price you'll get a model from another brand that perform similarly. Skull Candy you are buying a brand name and a "look". Sennheiser aren't that bad as you can get some good deals if you hunt around. I got my Sennheisers for a decent price. You've got to be careful of fakes though. Also, Sennheiser make some of the best high end 'phones.

And the set before them I had for about six months and I lost them
As I stated in my thread, I got my mate to "borrow" them... Im soo happy I didnt pay £27.99 for them as they were priced in the shop.

I would deffo wanna try those dr dre 1's if I could trial them or something... no way am I paying £279.99 for them lol...

I too own a pair of Audio-Technica headphones, and I have previously owned a pair of Skullcandy ones in the past too, and I have to say that the AT ones are much better value for money and overall a much better product to buy!

my boyfriend has had skull candy for months and their still perfect. the bass hasnt gone crap etc. so it really depends what skull candy earphones you get. so tbh their not like apple earphone £25+ for ssome apple earphones and the base goes after while. and then sounds crackly.

edit : also he got his at like £7.99 from tkmax. unlike hmv charing like 15+

I bought some ink'd ones and they were pretty disappointing and broke pretty soon after buying them. I have some sony ones now which have acceptable sound quality but I really want some better, I'm a closet audiophile

Whoopsie, I'm an idiot, I paid £17.99 from HMV. Didn't konow TK Maxx had them in.

Slightly off topic, but idc, I want a new pair of Ink'd buds, I'm looking at the ones with black ears and red accents and wires. Anyone seen them anywhere cheap?
