    Well how come when I had my 3G turned on, on my iPhone, I HAD NO SERVICE? yet when I turned 3G off, it connected via Edge? full bar signal? please explain?

    I dont think all phones have the option to turn it off. My iphone does, but Im not sure if my blackberry has or not.

    Decent phones will automatically switch from 3G to the next fastest connection (not taking into account the strength as long as it can register)
