    You think that exceeding an arbitrary number of one of 3 macronutrients while burning more energy than you take in will stop you losing weight? How on earth did you come to that conclusion? It's not just you though, many people think fat makes you fat.

    Special and anyone else looking to lose weight by posting in this forum should stop and look for advice elsewhere, you'll get ******** advice from people who don't know what they are talking about on here. *Removed*

    what are you talking about? lol i know that fat doesn't make you fat, calories (units of energy) will make you put on weight if you do not burn enough through exercise. i lost weight through (oh hey have a guess) exercising so don't tell me i don't know what i'm talking about :S

    And for the record, no you do not need to exercise to lose weight.

    Complete agree with everything which Aidenn has said... Very good idea to consume more negative calorie foods within your normal daily diet.

    One important thing to remember:

    Input = Output... Basic rule.
    Obviously other things will come into play i.e. what exactly you are eating and what exercise you are doing but a basic rule.
    If you eat more than you burn in a day you will gain weight.
    If you eat less than you burn in a day you will lose weight.

    I could go into a lot more detail but I wont. If you do want anymore information i am happy to provide.

    (I'm not saying everything I say is 100% correct but I do know basic information and it has helped me heaps to lose some weight and now maintain it.)

    Calories are calories just measures of energy, if you eat less calories than your maintenence (what you use daily) you will loose.

    Simple don't overcomplicate it
