Is this just for Fibre Optic customers or is this for all? We're not fibre optic as far as I'm aware.

ah cool. hopefully we can actually reach 60mb considering i've only been hitting 10mb max at my uni house for the past 2 months & i have the 30mb package.
I get 4mbStill waiting for any form of upgrade..
I've been really tempted to switch to Virgin for the fibre optic because where I live we only have normal broadband for BT/Sky which is really slow.

Cannot wait for the 100mbit goodness that will come before thee. I was hoping for a while for the free ups.

They say ALL Customers, so I imagine its for everyone, If your on ADSL, Likelihood is your on 10 - 20MN anyhow, so you will either stay on ADSL or get upgraded to Fibre.
Edit: just sent the moderator I am friendly with on the forums a message about the upgraded speeds, I shall post the reply here when he tells me.

Er no that isn't the case. It's for fibre optic/cable customers only, you can't just upgrade an ADSL customer to fibre optic just like that. They would have to make sure it's in the customers area for a start.
It's why the actual article is under "Cable" on their site. The article can be found at: https://my.virginmedia.com/customer-...edupgrade.html
Plus the max like Tom said earlier is probably around 20Mb for anyone on ADSL or "National" as Virgin Media call it.
