I've noticed it a bit recently too although my laidback self was more 'you edited that?' rather than 'oh no they missed it' but that's an entirely different issue that we already have a big massive thread for so let's not get into that

I personally always read through the rest of a thread looking for quotes when I remove something - but it can easily be missed so it's just us needing to be more careful.
